Doing Your Best

Sometimes, when you are assigned to complete a task or project that is difficult or time-consuming, it can take a lot for you to keep from quitting. Most times when this occurs, you feel that just getting it done is good enough. In some cases, that’s true. However, most of the time, the greatest option in the long run is to do your best. Not only will the outcome be much better, but internally you will feel proud of yourself for doing so. If it seems like you failed or got a lower score than you had wanted, you can still feel good about your work, and the guilt of failure will be significantly eased. So whether it be a math test, a job project or even building a birdhouse, put your highest level of effort into it–you won’t regret it!
