Being Thankful For All Seasons

People go through all kinds of seasons in life. Some are filled with joy and progress, while others feel more stagnant, or are peppered with disappointments. Experiences come and go, and lessons learned often are vital in future seasons, good or bad. In some ways, life’s seasons are similar to the cyclical ones seen in nature. Each season does something to move nature’s systems along in an orderly fashion: spring brings rain, summer brings heat, fall brings reset, and winter brings rest. In a similar way, life’s seasons act to refresh us, teach us, or guide us in a new direction altogether. Though each season is different, they often share similarities. And some are harsher than others. But all play a part in shaping something. So remember: next time you find yourself waiting for your favored season, whether nature’s or a stage of your life, try to be thankful for the one you are in if it is applicable. With an open mind, you can even find the good when you look back on that point of your life!
