How Sharing with Others Signals Prosperity

Sharing is caring is a phrase familiar to many. Most know that honest sharing is important, kind, and often a sign of maturity. But it can also be a sign of prosperity and wealth. A person with little can share, but giving stuff away could be risky. Often, such people lack sufficient financial stability to give away their time, money, or abilities without jeopardizing themselves. Furthermore, even if they do come to a place of sufficient opulence they may find themselves unwilling to be generous–signs, unfortunately, of a poverty mentality. However, when a person feels they can share freely, they can be prosperous in two ways. Many times, they are financially affluent, having enough to give without risk to themselves, which is the first blessing. But more importantly, they have a mind unburdened by the fear of loss or less, a priceless gift that those hampered by a poverty mentality cannot retain. In this, sharing certainly indicates physical and mental affluence. The next time you consider sharing something with another person, recognize the true meaning of this action and enjoy the wealth that sharing brings!
