“Did you get a haircut?” “Nope, I got them all cut!” From not-really-that-funny dad jokes to very much needed encouragement in school or sports, fathers and father figures are very important in our lives. And because of this, they get a whole day of celebration to themselves!

People celebrate their father in different ways on Father’s Day, such as by going to a restaurant to eat, giving their fathers gifts, or even just spending time with Dad by watching a movie. However your father wants to spend his day, be sure to be happy, positive, and encouraging! Showing appreciation to your father will help him to stay encouraged and be a support you can count on when you need him. So say hip-hip-hooray for the celebration of Father’s Day!
