From the beginning of time, humans have always tampered with nature. From slash-and-burn agriculture created thousands of years ago to the deforestation and oil spills of today, there has always been a conflict between humans and nature. Even though the mentioned destruction is a consequence of capitalism, the common people can make a difference in the fight for a cleaner planet. To reduce unnearcary emissions to the air you can turn off devices when you are not using them or just switch your lawn mower from gas to electric. You can donate to a charity that is trying to clean up the world, or put your trash in a recycling bin. So far there’s only one planet for us to live on, so let’s keep it safe and clean, not just for us, but for future generations. The impact of just one anti-pollution choice could be critical. We can spread happiness by encouraging others to keep our planet clean.
